We have created these pages chiefly to keep the Dictionary as up to date as possible, and - with the help of our friends - to correct any mistakes. New candidates for inclusion also keep occurring to us, so we are posting here draft entries for these as well and invite comments on them from readers. I should say, though, that we are not as yet proposing to add to these all of the cross-references that they imply; nor are we adding further cross-references to existing entries. The use of three dots (...) indicates the existence of preceding or succeeding text in the book.
